Professional Experience

Microsoft Japan

Technical Support Engineer / Technical Lead (2022 – Present)

In 2022, I joined Microsoft Japan as a Technical Support Engineer, specializing in Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Explorer. I provided advanced technical support to both domestic and international customers, handling complex issues.

In 2023, my responsibilities expanded to include Microsoft Fabric Datawarehouse and real-time analytics solutions powered by Kusto, such as EventStreams and Real-Time Hub. I supported a broad range of technical challenges.

In 2024, I was promoted to Technical Lead within the support organization. I currently lead a team of 11 engineers, with responsibilities including:

  • Weekly technical case reviews
  • Technical mentorship and coaching
  • Escalation management of complex and high-priority customer issues
  • Cross-functional coordination with product engineering and global support teams

My focus as a lead is on strengthening team-wide technical capabilities, improving resolution efficiency, and driving continuous improvements in customer satisfaction and service quality.

Baudroie Inc.

Network & Infrastructure Engineer (2020 – 2021)

After graduating from university, I began my career at Baudroie Inc., where I participated in a large-scale electronic payment network project for a major financial institution.

My primary responsibilities included the upgrade and deployment of:

  • L2/L3 switches
  • Firewalls
  • Load balancers

I contributed across the entire project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and system design to implementation and production deployment—helping build a secure and scalable network infrastructure.

During this time, I also obtained CCNA and CCNP certifications to establish a strong foundation as a network engineer.

Subsequently, I was involved in the infrastructure development of a major Japanese career service platform, operated by a leading domestic provider. In this project, I worked on server environments built on Linux, contributing to the setup, and maintenance of a stable and scalable system.

Through close collaboration with overseas development teams, I gained experience in cross-cultural technical communication and incident response in English, further enhancing my global engineering competencies.

Personal Projects

Web Development & Full-Stack Application Development

Alongside my professional experience, I have pursued several self-directed projects and coursework to deepen my understanding of modern web technologies and full-stack development. These projects focus on building responsive, secure, and user-friendly web applications from the ground up.

Through these initiatives, I have worked extensively with the following technologies and tools:

Frontend Development

  • HTML5, CSS3, Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • CSS Frameworks: Bootstrap 5, Bulma, Semantic UI
  • Responsive design, accessibility best practices, and interactive UI/UX
  • Complex form creation with custom validation
  • DOM manipulation and dynamic content rendering with vanilla JavaScript
  • Single Page Applications (SPA) using AJAX

Backend Development

  • Node.js, Express.js
  • RESTful API design and implementation
  • Working with MongoDB (cloud and local), including schema design and data associations
  • User authentication (session-based and token-based) from scratch
  • Middleware, routing, and error handling in server-side apps

Dev Tools & Utilities

  • Git & GitHub for version control
  • Postman for API testing and monitoring
  • NPM for package management and module development
  • Command-line tools for automation and project setup

Deployment & Cloud

  • Deploying full-stack applications to cloud platforms (e.g., Heroku, Render)
  • Integrating and managing cloud databases
  • Working with environment variables and secure configuration

These personal projects have greatly strengthened my practical knowledge of software development, expanded my problem-solving abilities, and enabled me to think like a developer—debugging efficiently, writing maintainable code, and continuously learning through building.
